Mrs. King's Classroom

I was born and raised in Ludington and graduated from Mason County Central.  I knew early in my childhood that I wanted to be a teacher and follow in my father's footsteps.  I continued my education and graduated from Central Michigan University and also have a Master's degree from Grand Valley.  I have been teaching Special Education for 17 years in grades K-6 at Ludington Area Schools. I am very excited to begin a new journey and teach 2nd Grade this year!!

I have a wonderful husband named Jeremy and 2 children that we completely adore!!  I enjoy family time, reading with my book club, walking and summer time.

I am excited to begin another school year and help make students successful learners.
